Brandtailers recently asked me to pull together a spot on the cheap for the National Automobile Dealers Association. Since I've spent a large part of my career hawking cars, anything that will help get people into the dealership is alright by me.
Director Jeffrey Brown of Tallgrass Pictures stepped up, putting his RED camera to the test, and donating the use of his great studio down in San Diego. He also did the editing and color correction, and even let me sleep in his guest room! The kids are mostly non-actors, which I think actually helped in this case. Not to be forgotten is Greg Kuehn of Peligro Music who donated the sweet acoustic track. It might not win a Lion, but it's a solid little spot - cast, shot, edited and finished in just three days!
